Dear dr donohue • i take zocor for cholesterol, micardis for blood pressure and dexilant for acid reflux (heartburn) when i wake each morning, my lower back, hip, knee, shoulder and ankle. Acid reflux cause joint pain. Does anyone with acid reflux also have joint and muscle pain? i thought it was from sleeping with extra pillows, but it seems like now it's not 'just' in my shoulders and upper arms now my hips/buttocks too is this something else and acid reflux is just the symptom? i'm so frustrated with my doctors.
acid reflux cause joint pain
You would be absolutely right, however acid reflux disease can cause secondary symptoms and back pain is one of them to understand how acid reflux leads to back pain i need to explain the cause of gastroesophageal reflux disease (gerd) the main cause can be linked to a round shaped muscle called the lower esophagus sphincter. Joint pain. swelling and joint pain are common side effects of consuming excessive tomatoes. the fruit is rich in solanine, which is a compound that builds up calcium in the tissues. excess amounts thereof cause inflammation and body pains. acid reflux. tomatoes are also rich in citric and malic acid.. One especially common cause of decreased sleep is gastroesophageal reflux disease (gerd), or heartburn. gerd occurs when stomach acid moves up into the esophagus. this backward flow is called reflux..
